To promote a new line of products Konica Minolta Business Solutions retained Janko Rasic Architects to design a new flagship showroom and sales office. The design employs a ceiling of discs floating between columns, reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wrights’ Johnson Wax Headquarters. Curved tracks at the perimeter of the discs allow for flexible lighting scenes to feature individual products. A rubber floor mirroring the outline of the disc provides a gentle cushion for both the equipment and visitors alike.
