The English-Speaking Union of the United States is a non-political, non-profit educational organization promoting scholarship and knowledge through effective use of English in the global community. Programs include seminars, conversational classes and other social events. A former carriage house converted by Janko Rasic Architects is its national headquarters.  A new elevator was installed for accessibility. The upper floors are office use, while the ground floor has a library, a lounge and an outdoor garden for public functions.
