This neo-Georgian building, originally constructed as the Woodward Mansion and then home to The Town Club, was restored by Janko Rasic Architects and converted once again into a private residence. Original classical details were restored and the infrastructure was modernized for present day needs. The residence, contains two elevators, an indoor swimming pool, and an exercise spa. All the floors were to be reconstructed as well as a new roof top addition with roof garden. Its prominent location on the Upper East Side just off 5th, and the 52 foot wide limestone facade make for an impressive presence on the streetscape.
