Bangkok Bank is the largest commercial bank in Thailand. A longtime client of Janko Rasic Architects the bank asked the architects to assist in evaluating its real estate options and ultimately design its new office in New York. In the design, Janko Rasic Architects took advantage of the irregular floor plate to allow all staff members access to natural light. Elements such an inverted tiled ceiling and a living green wall draw inspiration from the architecture and landscape of Thailand. The green wall also improves indoor air quality.
