Manitou School Opens Its Doors
The Manitou School is a new private Pre-K through 4th grade school in the Hudson Valley housed in the historic Parrot House and former Plumbush Inn & Restaurant. Janko Rasic Architects planned and designed the renovation, conversion and modernization while preserving the historical integrity of the 1860’s building which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The project was completed on a fast track schedule to ensure that school doors were open in September.
