The English-Speaking Union of the United States is a non-political, non-profit educational organization to promote scholarship and knowledge through effective use of English in the global community. E.S.U.’s educational programs include seminars, conversational English classes and other social events. The English-Speaking Union’s National Headquarters has moved to Murray Hill where they purchased a former carriagehouse, and hired Janko Rasic Architects to convert the two upper floors for office use and conference, while the ground floor has a library, a lounge and an outdoor garden for public affairs.
